Michail Parlamas (b. 1977) graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Greece and later earned a Masters and a Doctorate in Fine Arts in London. His ‘Gods+Monsters’ series blends religious and symbolic references with elements from ancient mythology, pop culture, and contemporary figures. Through comparative mythology, he explores identity, contrasting Eastern unity with Western individualism. His paintings, rich in archetypal symbolism and surreal undertones, invite viewers to uncover personal and collective truths through visual storytelling.
